Twinking
- Do not mix In Character things with Out of Character things. Things you know, as in the case of reading someone's character website or discussing characters OOC'ly, are not things that your character knows. You should not use OOC knowledge to your advantage. Likewise, you cannot attack someone's character just because you don't like the player.
- No using additional alts or summoning friends in to help you win a fight. If someone stumbles upon a fight, they may join the role play depending on the circumstances and the agreement of all participants.
- You must abide by the three dodge attack rule. This means that if you dodge three consecutive times, the fourth attack must hit. This rule is in place to prevent you from avoiding all damages during a fight. When in doubt, get a staff member to regulate the fight.
- No running from fights without giving the other player a chance to respond. Before truly fleeing, you must post your attempt to do so and wait for the other player to respond. If they present attacks that you can legally dodge, then you can post officially/successfully fleeing.
- You can only flee the same pack or individual twice. On the third encounter, you are required to fight.
Godmoding
- Limitations: For every advantage, there is a disadvantage. Characters should be balanced with strengths and weaknesses.
- Wounds take time to heal. You can't receive a wound one day and be perfectly fine the next.
- No powerplaying. The only character you can control is your own; do not assume the actions of another player's character. This also means no auto-hitting, as your opponent is entitled to attempt a dodge if they wish.
Thrill-Killing & Consent Rules
This dream is set up as an express consent and implied consent dream. Please read and be sure to fully understand the rules below.
Thrill-Killing
Thrill-killing will not be tolerated under any circumstances. You may not attack or kill a character without a valid In Character reason. If the staff determine that you have attempted thrill-killing, you will be banished.
Non-Consent
To refuse an act or proposal of another.
Express Consent
Express consent is when another character, such as your pack leader, parents, or mate, makes an IC decision that directly affects your character. These are situations in which you are perceived to have given this person permission to affect your character in this way, by agreeing to play as their offspring, joining their group, etc. If someone makes a decision for you and they are not allowed to, please contact a staff member.
Consent
To voluntarily agree to an act or proposal of another. This refers to clear verbal approval.
Implied Consent
Consent is not expressly granted by the player, but rather inferred from IC actions and circumstances at hand.
Groups
All groups have the right to set there own consent level. This is normally set by the acting leader of the group. If you do not like the way a group is run, you do not have to join them.
Please list your consent level 0n the site, on the land emit, and in each members' descriptions.
(If it is not added, you may not invoke the rule randomly.)
Lone Player
If you wish to use the consent rules, please add it into your description and character site, if you have one.
(If it is not added, you may not invoke the rule randomly.)
Probable Cause
Includes acts of real or perceived aggression, such as territory disputes, stealing of prey or offspring, physical violence, or verbal confrontation.
(If you are unsure what constitutes realistic probable cause, please consult a staff member.)
Fight to the Death
Can occur only with realistic probable cause.
If your character is attacked under probable cause you CAN NOT refuse to role play. You flee or you fight, end of story.
(If your character is unfairly attacked, do not respond and immediately contact a staff member.)
